Before launching the program, a program name, logo, and brand identity needed to be established.
One of the primary objectives of the program is to help and assist homeowners, commercial business owners, and property owners in making the “switch” to more energy-efficient and sustainable homes and properties.
This program has several distinguishable features that set it apart from the extensive number of green initiatives currently on the market. The program aims to make the entire process simple and uncomplicated by providing assistance and guidance every step of the way.
The uncomplicated, simple experience needed to carry over into all aspects of the brand’s experience and application. The program name “Switch” uses succinct, plain language to encourage the program’s audience to make the switch and implement renewable and sustainable improvements to their homes and properties.
The tagline “Simplifying the switch to a greener future” communicates that through engagement with the program, the goal of a greener future is achievable—due to its accessible, simplified process.
Currently, a total of six additional municipalities have partnered with PACE and implemented the program with great success.
The Town of Stratford and the City of Charlottetown implemented a program to help residents and businesses make energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements to their homes and buildings. This integrated efficiency and financing program uses a municipal financing mechanism called Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE). The municipalities joined together with PACE Atlantic CIC (now rebranded to SwitchPACE CIC) a hybrid private/public benefit corporation, to implement the program.
